Hi... I'm new to Toastmasters and new to this group.
I have to give my first little speech in a fortnight - 'Speakers
Choice'.
I have absolutely no idea what to speak about!!!!!!!
Any suggestions????????

Welcome to Toastmasters, Oli. An easy topic to speak about is YOU.
That's why the first speech in thw manual is called the icebreaker.

P.C. hit the nail on the head. The first project in the
Competent Communication is the Icebreaker, and you will be
talking about the one topic on which you are the recognized
world expert--yourself.

Now the members of your club are going to become part of
your circle of friends and aquiantances. So think about a
couple or three things you would like a new friend to know
about you, and use that to build a four to six minute talk.
