Toastspace.com is the new, free online community exclusively for
Toastmaster.
It's like facebook, myspace, etc. but without the privacy and security
concerns.
There are forums and groups (like VP Education, Webmasters Leadership,
Meeting Ideas, Proposal for Copetent/Advanced EVALUATOR track etc.)
links, messaging etc.
It is by invitation only and exclusively for toastmasters. Once you
join you can invite other club members.
You can even set up a group just for your club.

Hi Matthew,
Why one more dedicated service?
Services like Facebook, Xing, Linkedin are very usefull not only for
exchanges with our current members, but also for the promotion of our
local clubs ...
if you are interested by social networking , and existing services ...

I echo this. The of social networking is not to insulate, but to get
people to join our organization. I don't care fo Xing (shouldn't have
to pay), but Linkedin, Facebook and MySpace have growing TM
communities.

Just FYI, XING and Toastspace.com are completely free
They provide for Toastmaster only forums, communities and groups on
local and worldwide scale.
It isn't for everyone but is have quite a few interesting threads.

very useful for multi-language and multi-cultural exchanges
You can read our Xing forums and contribute for free
a premium account is not necessary for that.
- For recruitment, Xing is more relevant for European clubs.
with the events service, I've managed some amazing recruiting operations
( average +5 members/club for our French speaking clubs)
A premium account is need for conducting these operations :-/
