Eh, there's always more to talk about, just gotta shoehorn it into an

That is very true. However, it is much easier to do that with the basic
manual. I found the advanced manuals I did, even the ones I enjoyed,
extremely restrictive. That's why I have completed only 4 advanced
manuals and am two speeches away from my 16th CTM.

I think I'm going to revisit a few advanced manuals; I don't terrible care
if I can't get another ATM out of it. But I really would like to do more
with, say, the interpretive reading manual, which I really enjoyed.

Yes, that's one of my favorites, too.

I'd love to complete a few advanced manuals I've inherited from people
who did 1-2 projects and then dropped out. The television manual is one
of these, which is fine by me because I don't really want to do all the
projects, just 1-2 of them. And I wouldn't mind doing Technically
Speaking again, as well as Specialty Speeches.

Hi Nigel

Actually, yes, I did miss the AG bit. I so often see folks reach their
goals and then not know what to do with themselves... they just tread
water. Just wanted to encourage you to other things... glad to see
you're already there!

Warmest regards
Jean

Me too, Joy, plus I don't like the policy that you have to complete all
the advanced manuals before you can repeat one. There are some manuals
for which I have no use. If I could do The Entertaining Speaker over
and over it would be different, but instead I'll take the other option
and do CTMs from here on.

It doesn't mean you can't do a manual over, just not get credit for it. Smile

Yup, in fact I decided to do just that. Not only becuase I want to do
the project but because it's a good discipline to say no every once in
awhile. The Betsy DCP Factory has officially shut down for the year.

True, but we are constantly badgered to get a new award so our club, etc.
gets credit for the DCP.
