WCPS Videos & Other Resources

The thread below made me wonder if most districts have a librarian and
what sort of resources the librarian has. Our librarian has a
collection of all the WCPS videos. Anyone in the district can borrow
them for 2 weeks. I certainly could never afford to buy the series, so
I'm very glad our district does this.

A library of this type would have been very helpful to me. I've seen
the last three years, plus Darren's on his website.

Maybe someday I'll start my own personal library for the District. I
wonder how often your librarian has to replace a lost or damaged video?

I've wondered the same thing, although some of the tapes look pretty

old. You have to leave a hefty deposit, which you get back once you
return them, so that helps. I wouldn't be surprised if we make a copy
of everything just in case something DOES get damaged.
