To "Pluto" means "to demote or devalue someone or something", much as
we do with outgoing District Officers or WCPS contestants who don't win
it all.

I had never heard this word until the recent news stories about it.

Rich--you took 3rd place at WCPS! You didn't get "plutoed", you're "a
star!"

Hey, remember my posts about not hearing any Pluto speeches at the
Humorous Speech contest? Maybe we'll get a second chance at the Intl.
Contest.

So you're saying there's something Goofy about this word? That the

Ahh the power of a press release!

Never heard the word before this morning...when it was our word of the
day, and here it is again this evening. Could Toastmasters do smething
similar? Sound bite of the year? Pithy quote of the year?
