Someone opened a Google group to get away from the pests. I'd gladly come
back here, because I prefer this format. However, for some, at least, it is
easier to read the Google group than to plow through the garbage. I get the
impression not everybody has a killfile.

It looks like a few of them are still following up. My killfile stuff
shows
me there's a follow-up to my post.

Everybody has a killfile. It may be known as a filter to other wannabe

It's not an ISP thing, it's a user's software thing.

While not kill files, some ISPs have filtering that cleans
up some (or even most) of the spam. Mine happens to be one
that filters out most.

I still check in on this group, and while it may not have been dead,
it was, as said in Princess Bride, mostly dead.

We have 56 members in TMPrime, and active and lively discussion as we
used to have here. The average user doesn't know how to or want to
bother with killfiles and software - they just observe through a
browser or maybe an email program.

If I thought we could all return here and not deal with more spamming,
I'd close up shop at TMPrime - but just this thread alone proves
otherwise.

Just as there is no TM meeting format that is perfect for all, there
seems to be no group format for all. Hopefully we can all visit each
other once in a while though.

Rich.
