will conduct one more session in January.
Event #3: 7-9pm, Mon., January 28, 2008
1. Storytelling techniques--Learn how to adapt fables to get your point
across and more
Stories are powerful motivators and an effective tool for engaging
others. If you want to take your communication skills to the next level,
you should consider storytelling in your speeches and other
communications. Aesop of Ancient Greece was a great storyteller. His
fables have been retold for ages because they are entertaining and have
a moral that is universal in time. During this seminar, you will learn
guidelines to determine if a story is appropriate, along with search
tools, and resource links. Come and enjoy a good story with a message to
remember. Presented by Deborah Clark, trainer/meetings planner.
2. What you need to Know about Natural Medicine
Learn what is natural medicine, the history of natural medicine, how it
may apply to you, and what you need to know about it. Presented by James
Allen, business professional/entrepreneur and natural health advocate.
3. Where Does Motivation Come From?
Motivation is a wide topic, yet we need to understand our own nature and
what motivates us. Sources of motivation can be amazing that we often
overlook or acknowledge them. Find out what motivates you to achieve the
results you want. Presented by Ritu Chopra, author/presenter on human
behavior.

6. Story on the lighter side: FBI Orders Pizza
FBI agents conducted a "search and seizure" at the Southwood Psychiatric
Hospital in San Diego, which was under investigation for medical
insurance fraud. After hours of poring over many rooms of financial
records, some sixty FBI agents worked up quite an appetite. The case
agent in charge of the investigation called a local pizza parlor with
delivery service to order a quick dinner for his colleagues. The
following telephone conversation took place:
Agent: Hello. I would like to order nineteen large pizzas and
sixty-seven cans of soda.
Pizza man: And where would you like them delivered?
Agent: To the Southwood Psychiatric Hospital.
Pizza man: To the psychiatric hospital?
Agent: That's right. I'm an FBI agent.
Pizza man: You're an FBI agent?
Agent: That's correct. Just about everybody here is.
Pizza man: And you're at the psychiatric hospital?
Agent: That's correct. And make sure you don't go through the front
doors. We have them locked. You'll have to go around to the back to the
service entrance to deliver the pizzas.
Pizza man: And you say you're all FBI agents?
Agent: That's right. How soon can you have them here?
Pizza man: And you're over at Southwood?
Agent: That's right. How soon can you have them here?
Pizza man: And everyone at Southwood is an FBI agent?
Agent: That's right. We've been here all day and we're starving.
Pizza man: How are you going to pay for this?
Agent: I have my check book right here.
Pizza man: And you are all FBI agents?
Agent: That's right, everyone here is an FBI agent. Can you remember to
bring the pizzas and sodas to the service entrance in the rear? We have
the front doors locked.
Pizza man: I don't think so.

Thanks pc - it is a shame that this e-list has been overrun by junk
postings. 2 weeks away on holidays and there is over 2000 postings, and
only a handful were of any importance.
